1. What OvertimePools Is

OvertimePools is a sports prediction tracking and scoring software platform. We provide tools that allow commissioners to run private group games (a score-prediction pool for the playoffs, and squares boards for a single game) and allow all parties to view standings, squares and scoring results.

OvertimePools is not a gambling operator, bookmaker, or wagering service. Points, ranks and standings on the Platform have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value. We do not accept, hold, process, track, or distribute money between participants.

2. Platform Fee

Commissioners pay a one-time software activation fee for each pool season or squares board they activate. This fee is charged solely for access to the OvertimePools scoring and tracking software. It is the only charge on the Platform. Participants never pay OvertimePools anything.

2a. Refunds

Squares boards. A squares board that is not completely claimed when its game kicks off is cancelled automatically and is not played. Its activation fee is refunded in full to the card that paid it. Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on the card issuer. A board that fills and locks at kickoff is not refundable.

Pools and other requests. For any other refund request, email support@overtimepools.com. We review each request individually.

3. Commissioner Responsibilities

Commissioners are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring their league operates in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
• Communicating rules and any changes to participants
• Resolving any disputes among participants regarding scoring

Commissioners may not use the Platform to organize, collect, or track stakes, entry fees, or prizes of any kind.

4. User Responsibilities and Eligibility

By using OvertimePools you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are responsible for following the laws where you live

OvertimePools does not represent or warrant that use of the Platform is lawful in any particular jurisdiction. If you are unsure whether using the Platform is allowed where you live, you should seek legal advice first.

5. No Prizes

OvertimePools provides a scoring and standings display only. Points, ranks, and game wins are for bragging rights and carry no monetary value. No prize, payout, or winnings of any kind is offered through the Platform.

6. Account, Data, and Privacy

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. Your email is used to authenticate your account, associate your picks with your entry, and send you a confirmation of your submissions. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Trademarks

All content, design, and software on the Platform is owned by OvertimePools and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

OvertimePools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League (NFL), any NFL member club, or any other professional sports league or governing body. The NFL, team names (e.g., Kansas City, Philadelphia, Buffalo), and related marks are trademarks of the NFL and/or its member clubs. Such names and marks appear on the Platform solely to identify the real-world sporting events that users are predicting scores for, consistent with nominative fair use. No sponsorship or affiliation is implied.

Other third-party trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced on the Platform (including ESPN, Stripe, Supabase, and Vercel) are the property of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OvertimePools and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
